The current 24-hour news cycles cause us to suffer information OVERLOAD - and when we feel overloaded and overwhelmed, it can be a challenge to sift through what is actually important. And what is true. Our homeowner clients and sitters may rest assured knowing we are committed to your safety, protection and well-being. Mostly, we've [...]
So you have chosen your destination where you will spend your well earned holiday, booked flights, checked vaccinations required, checked passports are in date, sorted out itineraries, booked time off work, so what else? Oh yes, better book the dog into kennels, the cat into the cattery, bit of an afterthought but just something else [...]
A great big thank you, House and Home Sitters for finding us Christine to look after our animals last week while we were on holiday. The dogs adored her and were very happy when we returned. She coped well with the goats, chickens and cows; all in all a lovely person, Christine. We wonder if [...]

This was a very last minute sit we needed filled and he turned it all around within two days which was fantastic! Very happy with the service I was given. From the minute our designated sitter Sarah called [...]

We also support action against the toxic global greenhouse gas producers, having learned that plastic production accounts for 15% of such [...]
It was good to get back home, even if much colder here than in Canada! Dave and Rachel did a great job, and we returned to a happy cat and goldfish, a burgeoning garden, and a clean and tidy house, so we are very happy with House and Home Sitters. Thanks for everything, and we [...]
